Marc Codsi is a main actor in the development of the Lebanese musical scene.
He started as a guitar player for 6 years and 5 albums with post rock band Scrambled eggs.
He participated into the development of the Lebanese experimental scene and its festival Irtijal.
He also created the electro rock duo Lumi which released the album Two tears in Water (virgin records) in 2008 and ‘The Night was a Liar’ (Studio Keeward) in 2017.
After those experiences he settled to experiment with his own sound palette, and developed his dreamy romantic landscapes in his first solo album ‘Faded Postcards’ in 2010 then followed by ‘Works and Coincidences’ in 2013 which will be rereleased in 2018 in Paris (Freehand Records).
As a producer, he collaborated and helped shaping albums for many artits like Zeid and the Wings, Maryam Saleh, The new government, and lately Zalfa and Blue
He also partnered with many cinematographers like Joanna and Khalil Joreige, Danielle Arbid, Jim Jarmusch, Sarah Hatem, Zalfa Seurat, Anne Marie Jacer and others to create the soundtracks of their films.
Since 2017 Codsi is based between Paris and Beirut.
